Four Paws Park
Four Paws Dog Park will be open from 22 October 2016. Access will be through the main gate. Due to flood damage the lights are still not working. Council recommends that it is only used during day light hours until the lights are repaired.
Our new and exciting dog park, Four Paws Park, is open for you and your four legged best friend to use. It is located at Denis Morrissey Park, cnr Montacute & St Bernards Roads (behind the petrol station), Hectorville. Entry to the car park is off St Bernards Road.
The Dog Park is equipped with a variety of dog exercise equipment, a dog drinking fountain and benches for seating and utilises the surrounding landscape as part of its appeal.
Please ensure you keep your dog on leash at all times when not in the fenced dog park at Denis Morrissey Park, and on entry to Four Paws Park, please take note of the conditions of use of the dog park and take responsibility for your dog.
At Denis Morrissey Park there is also public toilets and a children's playground. Fourth Creek runs through Denis Morrissey Park, providing a perfectly beautiful spot for a picnic, and a game of football or cricket.

Official Opening of Four Paws Park
The Mayor of Campbelltown City Council officially opened Four Paws Park on Sunday 26 August 2012. The 4-500 community members who attended the official opening, with an estimated 200 dogs, looked like they were all enjoying our new dog park. There was lots to do including talking to all the local pet businesses and groups who turned up to help the celebrations, watching the dancing dogs, and having a free barbecue. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the day and the wonderful sunshine.
More photos of the opening to be posted in the coming days. Here is a taste of the day.

Construction of the Park
After an extensive community consultation process in October 2011, Council made the decision to build a new dog park at Denis Morrissey Park (at the corner of St Bernards and Montacute Roads, behind the petrol station).
