Zinio for Libraries

Zinio is the world's largest online magazine resource for libraries.  The new statewide subscription offers all South Australian public library customers access to over 400 full colour digital magazine titles, many of which are Australian.

Download popular titles as soon as they are released. New issues are often released as soon as the print edition hits newsstands.

There is no need to place Zinio digital magazines on hold and there is no limit to the number of issues that you can borrow.

Transparent Language Online

Unlimited access to over 80 language courses. Beginner and Intermediate levels. Learn to listen, speak, read and write. Android and iPhone/iPod/iPad app is also available.

The Big Bookclub

At the end of 2002, a group of like-minded individuals met to discuss how reading and literature could be promoted in South Australia. The outcome, The Big Book Club, was launched in April 2003.

The Big Book club is open to everyone! The author of each month's selected book visits South Australia, not just Adelaide, and travels to various regional areas to meet their readers. The 'club' brings people together.

The Little Big Book Club

Each month, The Advertiser Little Big Book Club will recommend a book or series of books for each age bracket:
