Botanic Grove Reserve Master Plan

Commencing late Oct/Nov 2019

Council will be engaging with the community on a Master Plan for Botanic Grove Reserve.

Playground, Campbelltown Memorial Oval

Commencing Oct/Nov 2019

In May 2018 Council asked the community for ideas for a playground to be installed as part of the Campbelltown Memorial Oval redevelopment.  Stage 2 engagement in October will deliver a draft concept plan for the playground (prepared in consideration of the feedback received) to find out if the community thinks we 'got it right'.

Playground, Fox Avenue Reserve

Commencing Oct/Nov 2019

Council completed engagement with the community in February 2019 (Stage 1) to obtain feedback on upgrading and improving the playground at Fox Avenue Reserve. Stage 2 of the engagement process will occur in October and will deliver a draft concept plan for the playground to the community to seek feedback and ensure the community is supportive of the resulting playground.

Stradbroke Road, Athelstone - Speed Reduction

Commences: Nov 2019

Council will be consulting the community on the potential need to reduce the speed limit on Stradbroke Road in Athelstone.

Strategic Plan - Stage 1

Commences: 2019/2020

Council will be preparing a new Strategic Plan in 2019 and needs to gather community feedback about the current Plan and our direction and vision for the future.  More information about this project will be released in the coming weeks.

Community Satisfaction Survey

Commences: Nov/Dec 2019

Every two years Council conducts a Community Satisfaction Survey. This is to help Council identify how the community perceives Council’s performance and the performance of Elected Members. It is also to identify where action is required to improve Council’s performance.

Thorndon Park Super Playground

Commences: Nov/Dec 2019

The Thorndon Park Master Plan which was adopted in 2014 identified the need to upgrade and extend the existing playground including the creation of a teenage recreation area. The park offers an important place for families from various cultural background to meet and socialise and therefore it is important to ensure that the proposed playground meets the Community and Council’s expectations.

Regional Public Health and Wellbeing Plan

Commences: Nov/Dec 2019

Campbelltown City Council along with other local Councils (Burnside, Prospect, Norwood Payneham & St Peters and Walkerville) will be looking for feedback in relation to a Regional Public Health and Wellbeing Plan for a larger regional area for 2020 - 2025. It will be about better living and better health.
