Business Support

Campbelltown City Council 'is a council that supports a strong and diverse local economy'Towards 2020 Strategic Plan 2010 – 2020, Campbelltown Council.

Council is also a proud participant in the Small Business Friendly Council Initiative, an initiative of the South Australian Office of the Small Business Commissioner developed to enhance engagement between Council and local small businesses.

While Council offers its own Small Business Grants program, all businesses are invited to search for other grants and funding opportunities (such as rebates) through the Campbelltown Council Funding Finder, a free service which allows businesses to search for State and Federal government grants and corporate grants that may be available to further support businesses.

Council's Economic Development Plan 2024 identifies the strengths, opportunities and gaps within the Council area that influence people’s quality of life by improving liveability in the area through an economic improvement lens.

Through advocacy for local employment for example through zoning policy, the development of business and industry partnerships, the redevelopment of precincts to increase foot traffic and the promotion of community events, facilities and attractions, Council aims to encourage and support economic sustainability.
