Home Support Program

Changes to Campbelltown Home Support Program (CHSP)

If you currently receive domestic assistance, home maintenance and home modifications from Council, you would now be aware that Council will be transitioning out of these services from 30 June 2024.  Our program is funded by the Federal Government and the Government is committed to ongoing funding for these services post 30 June 2024.

Clients who currently receive these services will continue to do so.  You are not required to do anything.  Council staff will work with the Federal Government to ensure a smooth transition for you to a suitable service provider.  We will continue to update you as more information is available.

Council’s priority continues to be focusing on delivering services that link our clients to their local community and maintain social connections.  As such, please be assured that services such as social support group, transport, and assisted shopping that you receive from us will continue to be provided by Council and will not be affected by these changes.

Campbelltown Home Support Program (Campbelltown HSP) is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and provides a range of low level services for older people.  Using a wellness approach, we work with eligible clients to maximise their independence in the community, enhancing their wellbeing and quality of life.
