Community Bus

Campbelltown City Council understands the important role transport plays in supporting people to get out and about in the Community.

Transport connects residents with essential services like medical appointments, shopping, social programs, cemetery visits and more.

The Campbelltown Community Bus Service is for residents of all ages.

This service enables residents of the City of Campbelltown to access any one of the following places:-

  • Campbelltown Shopping Centre
  • Target/Foodland - Newton Central
  • Campbelltown Public Library
  • Coles/Woolworths - Newton Village
  • The ARC Campbelltown
  • Kmart/Coles Firle Shopping Centre
  • Athelstone Shopping Centre

The service runs every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning. To book a seat call our Community Services Team on 8366 9283.

The Volunteer driver has a volunteer helper with them on the bus to help people with their shopping to their front door.

Download the Community Bus Service Brochure.

The bus is available for hire at reasonable rates to community groups and residents in Campbelltown or adjoining local Government areas.

Hire is available 7 days a week (with the exception of the door-to-door service time). To book a bus call Maria Coppola on 8366 9261.

Campbelltown Council is looking for people who have a few hours or a day to spare and would be interested in becoming a volunteer driver or helper for the Campbelltown Community Bus Service.

The service is mainly utilised by elderly, disabled or younger people who have no access to a vehicle to do their shopping, go to the chemist, bank etc.
