Council

Work Experience

Listen

The Campbelltown City Council provides a work experience program throughout the year.  The program allows schools and tertiary students the opportunity to gain practical job experience and skills in a medium sized, diverse organisation.  It also helps you make an informed decision about your future career and also about Council’s job opportunities.

  • Work Experience is open to residents of the City of Campbelltown area.
  • No placements are provided through agencies.
  • Availability of placements will depend on resources at the time of the application.
  • Work Experience positions are unpaid.
  • Applications must be received 4-6 weeks prior to commencement of work experience.
  • All students must be registered with a recognised school or tertiary institution that covers them for all personal insurance, public liability and professional indemnity.
  • High School, Tafe or University students only will be accepted.
